Teeth, Drums, and Rock n' Roll

I noticed Penny's second tooth coming in yesterday. No wonder she's been waking up at night, with two going at the same time! Hopefully, there will be a break until the next ones start.

Here are some photos of her banging on a pot with a wooden spoon. We noticed she turned her buckets upside down and hit them with her hand like bongos, so we decided to try the pots and pans. She took to it right away - and it isn't that loud using a wooden spoon. She's so proud of herself.

There are also some pictures of her trying to crawl. She won't remain sitting for very long. All day today she would sit for a minute or so and then attempt to crawl. She can't go anywhere, and all that happens is that she ends up on her tummy and then gets mad about it. But, it's pretty cool that she is trying - and trying so often. The girl is nothing if not determined.
