It's pretty scary trying to sell our house right now. I've heard from others in the area that have had an easy time selling their places, but then others who haven't. The oil spill situation makes us wonder how many people will be turned off who might have been interested in living close to the coast.
On that note, I'm really hoping to get down to the Saint Marks NWR again this week to see the marshes one more time before they are coated in oil, and maybe to the beach this weekend for the same reason. It just doesn't seem real; the magnitude of this thing just defies comprehension for me.
