I had a good run there of posting frequently, but haven't been so good about it recently. We've got some good stuff going on. (Not so good stuff too, around the edges, but I choose to focus on the positives.)
We've been looking at land! We hope to buy something soon. We'll keep our current house to live in for a couple years, but eventually we'll build on the land and live there. Until then it will be a place to go and for Tray to hunt everyday if he likes. It's gonna be great!
I started the Couch to 5k program. I did Week 1 for a week and a half and am repeating Week2 this week, but I feel ready to move on to Week 3 next week for sure. As someone who could not run to the stop sign a few houses down, I am super excited to be whipping my cardiovascular system into shape. I am shooting for running a race in May (you know, once it's good and hot outside - ha!). I totally get why people run now though. I absolutely get the "runner's high" and want to go out everyday even though the program is only 3 days a week so I make myself take days off in between. Every so often I even forget that I am running and just go with it, which is wild given how hard it used to be for me to run. Full disclosure: I ran sprints in high school on the track team, but sprinting is much different than distance running - and high school was many years ago. Still, every fiber of my being says, "run fast," so I have to keep slowing myself down which feels awkward. I'm getting there though.
We have seeds coming up all over the place where we've planted stuff. Tomatoes, eggplants, all manner of herbs. Every tree and shrub in our yard and the adjacent yards is in bloom. Everything feels like it is coming to life and it's just such a great time to be outside 24-7. We all eat lunch outside almost everyday - and sometimes breakfast and supper too, lol!

I am proud of you for running!
ME TOO! I used to be a big runner and really want to get back into it. I just haven't found the time. Maybe when Mike is back in Atlanta I can go out at night. I hate treadmills, so I have to be outside.
