Bummed

I am feeling down because I am not at an academic conference going on in Birmingham right now. It's the Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers. I was on the program committee this year, which means I read other peoples' papers to see if they were okay ahead of time. But I couldn't get my act together to write anything to present. I had extended time to write something, too, but I was so busy with school and Penny that I never did. And now all my friends and colleagues are writing about SEDAAG on facebook. I am so bummed that I didn't go.
