Anyway, I say this because this evening I was researching the table and chair set that we want to get Penny for Christmas. One reviewer wrote that it was on the small side and she thought it would be outgrown by about the age of 5. I was sitting here worrying about that. That she might outgrow it too soon. I think she'll be good. :)

Size
Penny won't sleep under the covers at all; in fact, it will wake her up if you put any on her because she'll feel it somehow and wake herself up to get out from under them. Consequently, we still put her in sleepsacks at night to keep her warm. They make them even for much older children (and I guess technically that's what snuggies are for grownups). With the weather being as cold as it is now, I ordered her some fleece ones. In the 12-18 months size! The weight limits say 22 to 28 lbs (she's 23 lbs). The thing is, I have two friends that had 9 pound babies and at the standard rate of triple-the-birth-weight at 1 year, they weighed 27 lbs at a year old. So they probably would have outgrown that size well before 18 months. I have to say though, that it's nice to still be able to pick Penny up and carry her around without too much effort. I can't imagine having had to lug around a 27 lb one year old.
