Week 14 Visit

The day before yesterday we went in for our 14 week checkup. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat using the Doppler. The heartrate was 160. We've scheduled our next ultrasound for 18 weeks, so about four weeks from now.

That evening, we set up our wooden cradle that I slept in as a baby - just to see if we could put it together. It is so cute and we both like having it to look at since we really haven't bought any other baby stuff yet.

Week 10 Scan

This is the ultrasound we had done at 10 weeks - four weeks ago now. It's whole body wiggled as we were watching it. It is amazing to think about how much the baby has probably grown since then.

Welcome to my new blog. This is intended to be a repository for pregnancy news and updates. As of this post, I am 14 weeks and 5 days pregnant! I wanted to get a pregnancy blog going earlier on, but I have had monster morning sickness. Luckily, though, it seems to be getting better by the day, so I hope to post regular updates from now on. It's a nice way to share information with you, my friends and family, and to keep a record for myself.
